Key Pair Login And MDM Expansion — Truto product update

New in Truto: Key pair login, a bigger MDM API, and 21 new AI-ready integrations

This week we added key pair login, a way to connect providers without passwords or OAuth apps, and expanded the Unified MDM API with N-able N-central and better device lists across six providers. The Unified Accounting API gained new methods and fixes, and three new ATS integrations arrived in beta. On top of that, we shipped 21 new AI-ready integrations and improved AI-ready tools for nine more.

  • Added 21 new AI-ready integrations, including Procore, Google Ads, Epic, and Samsara, for building AI workflows.
  • Improved AI-ready tools for Figma, Salesforce, Notion, Fathom, Cal.com, Firecrawl, Zoho Bigin, Zoho Meeting, and ConnectWise PSA.
  • New key pair login: Truto creates a key pair for each connection and keeps the private key encrypted, so customers connect with no password, OAuth app, or login.
  • N-able N-central is now on the Unified MDM API, with new methods for Jamf Pro, NinjaOne, and JumpCloud, and device lists that now page through the whole fleet.

📈 Expanded Unified APIs

Unified MDM API — N-able N-central and new methods

N-able N-central is now available on the Unified MDM API, and three existing MDM integrations gained new methods.

Unified MDM API — improved device lists

Device lists now page through the whole fleet and return more security, hardware, and owner detail.

Integration What changed
Jamf Pro Device lists no longer need a type filter, and return full inventory for Macs and mobile devices.
NinjaOne Device lists go past the first 100 devices, dates are correct, and you can filter by name and organization.
Iru (formerly Kandji) More hardware and security detail on devices, and users can be filtered by email.
JumpCloud Devices include the owner's name and email and the macOS firewall status, and users can be filtered by device.
Microsoft Intune Device type uses the standard unified values (for example, workstation), users can be filtered by device, and apps can be listed per device.
ManageEngine MDM Device lists go past the first page, and device details include last contact time, agent version, and FileVault status (Macs).

Unified Accounting API — new methods

Integration What you can now do
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Create, update and delete credit notes, currencies, employees, journal entries and tax rates; update and delete contacts, items and purchase orders; update payments; manage shipping methods and vendor credits; read item receipts; read and update company info.
FreeAgent Create, update and delete accounts, contacts, expenses and invoices; manage credit notes (including download), items and journal entries; update payments and transactions; read employees, repeating transactions, tax rates and tracking categories; read trial balance, profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.
Xero Create, read and update vendor credits.

Unified Accounting API — fixes

  • Xero credit notes: credit_notes now returns customer credit notes only. Supplier credit notes come from the new vendor_credits resource.
  • Xero accounts: Fixed accounts.create.
  • Zoho Books payments: payments (create, get, list, update) now falls back to paid_through_account_id when account_id is absent, so the account no longer comes back null.
  • Zoho Books tracking categories: Fixed tracking_categories create and update.
  • Zoho Books credit notes: Fixed line item IDs on credit_notes.get.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central items: Fixed four bugs in items.create. type was read from status (silently turning Inventory into Service), blocked was inverted (silently unblocking), number was sent the 36-character GUID, and itemCategoryCode was sent the description.

🔑 Key Pair Login

Truto can now create a key pair for each connection and keep the private key encrypted on our side. The customer only adds the public key to their provider. No password, no OAuth app, and nobody has to log in.

  • Built as a general feature, so more providers can be added through config.
  • The connect screen shows the public key and the setup steps.

⚙️ Platform Improvements

Connect UI

  • The connect window can now copy to the clipboard.
  • A connection link can pick a Static Gate, and re-authorize links keep the account's Static Gate.

🔄 Integration Improvements

  • Outlook Mail and Microsoft 365: Added read-only endpoints for contacts and contact folders, including subfolders and the contacts inside each folder.
  • Coda: When the API token can't see any organization, the connection error now says what to fix: an Enterprise plan and a token created by an Org Admin.
